Our College
You will receive personalised advice, guidance and support throughout your time at Sheringham Sixth Form, starting with your application, until you have completed your A Levels, and where necessary, after you have left to start Further Education, apprenticeship or employment. In addition to careers guidance, we provide support from a range of other agencies for your other needs.
If you are considering Sheringham Sixth Form for your A Levels, we recommend that you attend our Opening Evening, usually held in September and our Taster Day in November. These provide excellent opportunities to view our outstanding facilities, enquire about our courses, try out some new subjects and speak to both our subject specialists and students.
Once a student at Sheringham Sixth Form, you will be allocated a tutor who will meet with you on a daily basis and will help you settle into college life. Your tutor will be responsible for mentoring you and eventually writing your reference.
You will be invited to a vast range of enrichment activities and visits, as part of our extensive Enrichment programme. These focus on four main areas: Active, Community, Leadership and Thinking. There are plenty of activities for everyone, and in addition to being interesting and fun, will further develop your skills and provide evidence for your eventual applications.
We have a range of exclusive facilities, including Study Room, Media Suite, Common Room and dining area. Our canteen is open on a daily basis during the morning and at lunch time, offering hot and cold refreshments.
